Pam Goggans from Sager Creek Quilts in Siloam Springs, AR is our speaker. Pam and her husband, Cliff, opened their shop in the fall of 2000 with a goal to provide the local and online quilting community with a one-stop shopping destination for all their creative needs. Pam has been an avid stitcher, crafter, and quilter for many years and enjoys teaching and sharing her skills. Cliff makes the shops samples, while assisting customers and fitting in time for machine quilting. Pam also designs patterns and is enthusiastic about tools designed by Deb Tucker from Studio 180 Design where she is a certified instructor. Pam is also a designer for Fons and Porter magazine. She will be sharing her beautiful quilts and will have patterns she has designed for sale.

Join us for supper with speaker Sept 10th at El Maguey, 2504 N Summit, Arkansas City at 5:00 pm.

Board meeting and place is Sept 17th at 5:30 at the Pizza Hut, 422 N Summit, Arkansas City at 5:30 pm. All are welcome.

The purpose of the guild is to stimulate an interest in quilts, to promote and advance the art of quiltmaking, and to conduct educational programs and services in the design and techniques of quiltmaking.

The Bylaws and Standing Rules that govern the guild can be downloaded here.

WVQG meets the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m.  Having two meetings enables most members to attend regardless of work and family schedules.  Meetings are scheduled alternately between Winfield, KS  and Arkansas City, KS since our members come from a wide area. The meeting schedule is available by clicking on "meeting schedule" on the left side of this page.

To join the Walnut Valley Quilters' Guild download the membership form, fill out and return with dues of $25 to the postal address show below. Anyone interested in the art of quilting is invited to join our guild.
