Regular Guild meeting - April 10, 2017 at  1st United Methodist Church, 2448 Edgemont, Arkansas City at 1:00pm and at 6:00pm.  

Dinner with our speaker will be 5:00 pm in Arkansas City, KS at Sirloin Stockade, 2825 N Summit.   

Program - April program will be Chris Campbell, Antique quilt trunk show from Ottawa


Sewing for Comfort Quilts will not meet this month. We need black cotton material and a minimum of 3 yards of backing material. We would any donation of these items or monetary donation to this cause.

Our guild will be participating in the Kansas Sampler Festival, May 6-7, 2017. Start working on your items to sell. We will accept any donations of high-quality quilted items. The smaller items tended to sell better last year, but we need a few larger quilts as well. Board of Directors meeting - Monday, April 17th at 5:30pm at La Fiesta, 2123 N Summit, Arkansas City KS. Any guild member is welcome to attend the board meeting. 

The purpose of the guild is to stimulate an interest in quilts, to promote and advance the art of quiltmaking, and to conduct educational programs and services in the design and techniques of quiltmaking.

WVQG meets the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m.  Having two meetings enables most members to attend regardless of work and family schedules.  Meetings are scheduled alternately between Winfield, KS  and Arkansas City, KS since our members come from a wide area. The meeting schedule is available by clicking on "meeting schedule" on the left side of this page.

To join the Walnut Valley Quilters' Guild download the membership form, fill out and return with dues of $20 to the postal address show below. Anyone interested in the art of quilting is invited to join our guild.
