Regular Guild meeting - June 10 at 6pm at 1st United Methodist Church, 2448 Edgemont, Arkansas City, KS.

Program - A covered dish supper will be held followed by a parade of Past Presidents' Quilts. Please bring a covered dish and your own table service. If you have been a president of this guild, bring your president's quilt along with a short narrative about how you chose your pattern, fabric, etc.

The new guild year is beginning. Please bring your completed membership form and $20 for your dues. Those who have not paid by August will be dropped from the guild membership list.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of the guild is to stimulate an interest in quilts, to promote and advance the art of quiltmaking, and to conduct educational programs and services in the design and techniques of quiltmaking.

The Bylaws and Standing Rules that govern the guild can be downloaded here.

MEETINGS:
WVQG meets the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m.  Having two meetings enables most members to attend regardless of work and family schedules.  Meetings are scheduled alternately between Winfield, KS  and Arkansas City, KS since our members come from a wide area.

To join the Walnut Valley Quilters' Guild download the membership form, fill out and return with dues of $20 to the postal address show below. Anyone interested in the art of quilting is invited to join our guild.
