Regular Guild meeting - November 9 at 1pm and 6:30pm at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship, 3725 E. 9th Ave, Winfield, KS.

Program - Tony Munoz will present his program entitled "The 5 W's of Mystery Quilts."   Supper with Tony will be at College Hill Coffee in Winfield. All guild members are welcome to attend.

Tony will teach a workshop on a Log Cabin Christmas Wreath on Tuesday, November 10 at Field to Fabric Quilt Co., 907 Main, Winfield from 9am-4pm. Contact Chris Todd at 620-446-1831 for more information.             

There will be no Comfort Quilt sewing in November or December. Please continue to work on projects at home.

Board of Directors meeting - Monday, November 16 at 5:30pm at Neives in Winfield, KS. Any guild member is welcome to attend the board meeting.

The purpose of the guild is to stimulate an interest in quilts, to promote and advance the art of quiltmaking, and to conduct educational programs and services in the design and techniques of quiltmaking.

WVQG meets the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m.  Having two meetings enables most members to attend regardless of work and family schedules.  Meetings are scheduled alternately between Winfield, KS  and Arkansas City, KS since our members come from a wide area. The meeting schedule is available by clicking on "meeting schedule" on the left side of this page.

To join the Walnut Valley Quilters' Guild download the membership form, fill out and return with dues of $20 to the postal address show below. Anyone interested in the art of quilting is invited to join our guild.
