Lori Lee Triplett will present a trunk show of historical quilts from the Poo Collection and promises to be very educational and interesting.

Join us for supper with speaker Nov 12th at El Maguey, 2504 N Summit, Arkansas City at 5:00 pm.

Board meeting and place is Nov 19th at 5:30 at the Billy Sims 2113 N Summit, Arkansas City at 5:30 pm. All are welcome.

The purpose of the guild is to stimulate an interest in quilts, to promote and advance the art of quiltmaking, and to conduct educational programs and services in the design and techniques of quiltmaking.

The Bylaws and Standing Rules that govern the guild can be downloaded here.

WVQG meets the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m.  Having two meetings enables most members to attend regardless of work and family schedules.  Meetings are scheduled alternately between Winfield, KS  and Arkansas City, KS since our members come from a wide area. The meeting schedule is available by clicking on "meeting schedule" on the left side of this page.

To join the Walnut Valley Quilters' Guild download the membership form, fill out and return with dues of $25 to the postal address show below. Anyone interested in the art of quilting is invited to join our guild.
